A market in the heart of town
Santanyí Market is a popular outing in southeastern Mallorca. Improvements to the historic centre over the years have created a pleasant setting for market stalls, cafés, independent shops and restaurants. The surrounding streets are worth exploring too.
Market days
The market traditionally takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. For a quieter walk around the town, visit on a different weekday, bearing in mind that the market itself will not be operating as usual.
Getting there
From Cala d’Or you can drive or ride a scooter. One possible route goes via Portopetro and s’Alqueria Blanca. Cycling is also possible, depending on where you start and your preferred pace.
